Our Disability Awareness Workshops
We believe that the best way to educate individuals about disability is to allow them to physically experience various impairments for themselves. This is why our Disability Awareness workshops led by Nath combine visual and physical activities with the aim of building more confidence to engage with disabled people perhaps when they ask for assistance. Although we specialise in physical disabilities, we are able to touch upon other impairments such as Blindness and Deafness. Our workshops can be customised to your requirements whether it is focusing on one particular area or addressing a different aspect of a topic.
Workshop Contents
Our Disability Awareness workshops for schools include the following:
– Thought provoking discussions around various disabilities.
– Hands-on activities allowing students to experience disability first-hand.
– How best to interact with disabled individuals.
Disability Awareness Workshop Costing Structure
Our cost structure has been proven to match most schools budgets with each workshop costing £100 for a maximum of 60 minutes and discounts available for multiple bookings. However, we do ask that travel and accommodation (if necessary) expenses are covered. We also offer a flat day rate of £500 for a maximum of 5 workshops or a half day rate of £275 (travel fees may apply).
On a tight budget? We can also provide all our workshops via Teams.
